Our July 4th weekend was spent in hotty hot hot St. George Utah for my brother in law's wedding. It was so so great to spend time with Ben's family who we don't get to see as often as we would like and to celebrate Gab and Bri on their big day (oh, and to also get Swig twice #heaven).
We Barbecued and swam and fireworked and I basically lost 10 pounds by purely sweating, which was a plus. Everett oooh'ed and ahhh'ed for the fireworks when I thought there was going to be screaming in fear. It was so much fun to watch him dance to the music and clap for the fireworks, it made this stalwart Canadian love America even that much more. He stole the show.
The wedding was beautiful. The bride looked stunning, the location was perfect, my personal battery-operated-misting-fan worked like a charm and the happy couple was surrounded by lots of love. And even though the reception got rained out (what gives St. George you're supposed to be a desert?) it was still an amazing day! I love my new sis-in-law and am so happy Gab picked such a good addition to the family. Congrats you two!
