Christmas 2016

It's the beginning of March and I am just posting about Christmas. I REALLLY gotta get my ish together on this blog. I'm going to. I'm really really going to today....wellllll actually tomorrow though probably....or maybe this weekend, but blog posts up the yahoo coming-at-you-hot for sure sometime in the next 3 months. Ok 2017 is going to contain some blog posts I'm sure of it.

CHRISTMAS 2016

We had a nice long Christmas break in Canada with my family this year. It was so cold, one of the coldest I can remember. Ben and I went on a date night for my birthday. We got in the car after running from the restaurant, it was only like 30-feet and the cold pierced your soul, the kind it will take more than the car ride home to de-thaw. It was -29 degrees Fahrenheit with the wind chill (-33 celcius) and Ben loudly declared "NEVER. WE CAN NEVER LIVE HERE"

Sooo ya, it was cold but the joy we felt from the Christmas spirit warmed our souls (eyeroll I know). We went sledding and played in the snow and ice skating and curling and a light show and hot tubbed in the snow on New Years Eve.  We got to spend so much time with family ate more food than we should have and just had a holly jolly time.  Having little kids on Christmas morning is even more fun than being a kid on Christmas morning I am sure of it.
